Youth Sunday School Classes

For the 2006-2007 Sunday School year, LCC is offering youth classes at three levels:

Primary Level:  Grades 1-5

This class is using material from Through The Bible's DiscipleLand curriculum.  The class is learning about what it meant for people to follow Jesus during the time He was on earth, and what it means for them to follow Jesus today.

Middle Level:  Grades 6-8

The middle level class is using material from the Christian Reformed Church's Discover series.  The focus is on the confession and application of their faith as young Christians.

Upper Level:  Grades 9-12

This class usually works with elective courses designed to teach teens to grow up into their relationship with Jesus Christ.

The Youth Sunday School classes meet downstairs in individual classrooms in the Christian Education wing after worship (every Sunday except the first Sunday of the month, which is Communion Sunday).

Adult Sunday School Class

Total Forgiveness by R.T. Kendall

The adult class is using this excellent book to delve into the application of the command to forgive others as disciples of Christ.  The study kit utilizes both the primary text and an accompanying study guide.  R. T. Kendall was the pastor of Westminster Chapel in London following Dr. Martyn Lloyd-Jones.  God's words to us about the necessity of forgiving comes through in this book by Kendall, and we pray that the Lord will grow us further by studying this vital topic.

The adult Sunday School class meets in the Fellowship Hall after worship (every Sunday except the first Sunday of the month, which is Communion Sunday).
