A study based on the book Conquering Fear by Dr. Roger L. Frye of Pathway to Freedom Ministries International.  Contact the church office to reserve one of their copies, or order your own from a retailer such as Amazon or Barnes & Noble. (E-books are available!)

This book is designed as a 31-day devotional, but we are taking it at a slower pace and generally reading 2-3 chapters each week.  It’s a very practical book, with a prayer at the end of each chapter.  See Conquering Fear Study for a list of the chapters.

The schedule isn’t set in stone, and may be adjusted based on feedback and people’s availability.

Don’t be intimidated!  This is a friendly group who has discovered great joy in reading the Bible and discussing what they’ve read.  Many of them are new to reading the Bible.  Now we’re doing a book-study on a timely topic to apply God’s word in our daily lives and learn to combat various fears and anxiety.

Didn’t make it the first week (or 2 or 5 or …)?  That’s fine.  This study is one that you can join in the middle and still benefit from.

Note: We generally begin a little bit later than 7:30pm to allow for a short break between the prayer meeting and the Bible study.  The study is generally held in the Fellowship Hall.
