Want to laugh a lot, have some serious discussions, and learn how God relates to us? Join us for a study of the book of Daniel. The premise is simple: read chapters as assigned, and get together to discuss it. The upcoming chapters are posted on the https://loudon.churchtrac.com/ page.
Don’t be intimidated! This is a friendly group who has discovered great joy in reading the Bible and discussing what they’ve read. Many of them are new to reading the Bible. Daniel writes during the time of the Israelites’ exile in Babylon. (Previously we studied the books of Genesis through 2 Kings.)
Didn’t make it the first week (or 2 or 5 or …)? That’s fine. This study is one that you can join in the middle and still benefit from.
Don’t have a Bible? No problem! There are many sites at which you can read or listen to the Bible online, including biblegateway.com .
Struggling to get into 1-2 Kings or want some extras like how does this apply to me? Try a study plan like the one from First 5 (free).
Note: We generally begin around 7:35pm or slightly thereafter to allow for a short break between the prayer meeting and the Bible study. The study is generally held in the Fellowship Hall.
