St. Pauly Textile Clothing Drop-Off Shed

As of November 19, 2020, the clothing drop-off shed has been re-opened by St. Pauly Textile (after closing temporarily in late July 2020 due to the continuing impact of COVID-19 on international shipments.)  Thank you for your patience and continued generosity however the LORD leads — Loudon is a better place because you care!

In August 2019, we partnered with St. Pauly Textile Inc. to host a clothing drop-off shed.

St. Pauly Textile Inc. partners with a network of businesses and various organizations to distribute donated items both here in the U.S. and worldwide, where they are ultimately re-worn by people who need them.

Accepted items: usable clothing, shoes, belts, purses, blankets, sheets, curtains, pillowcases, and stuffed animals.  (Please avoid donating electronics, books, household items, toys, garbage, pillows, rags, or fabric scraps.)

Your donations will be distributed as whole garments, and are tax deductible.  (Receipts are available in the black “mailbox” to the right of the donation drop-off chute.)

As an organization hosting a shed, we receive funding for donated clothing and have the option to use the clothing donations themselves to serve community needs, including during emergencies.

Since God has blessed us, as has the local community in supporting the shed, we are giving the proceeds of donations received each August to another local organization as a “first fruits” offering.  The church has designated the Loudon Food Pantry to receive the proceeds for clothing donations received in August (2019, 2021, 2022, and until/unless another organization is designated). (Since the clothing shed was temporarily closed in August 2020, there were no shed proceeds to give to the Loudon Food Pantry, so we raised funds for them that year.)

Thank you ever so much, our dear Loudon-area community, for joining with us in this ministry providing clothes to those who need them, both locally, nationally, and worldwide!
