God Still Wants You

Nothing about you, or what you have done, or what has happened to you, disqualifies you from being God’s child and fulfilling His purpose for you.

The Bible, which contains God’s words of Life for humanity, tells us that

“There is forgiveness of sins for all who repent.”
[said Jesus in Luke 24:47 [NLT]]

This is true for everyone.

Jesus tells the story, in Luke 15:11-32, of a son who demanded his inheritance early (essentially wishing his father was dead), and then

“packed all his belongings and moved to a distant land, and there he wasted all his money in wild living.”

Later, “he finally came to his senses” (verse 17)

“So he returned home to his father. And while he was still a long way off, his father saw him coming. Filled with love and compassion, he ran to his son, embraced him, and kissed him.” (verse 20)

This is how God our Father treats every one of us, and that includes you.  He waits with open arms for you to return to Him.
